Lawyers in Lanzarote
Lawyers specialising in Urban Planning, Procedural, Administrative and Civil Law
Specialist Lawyers
We specialise in urban planning, administrative, property and civil law. We have in-depth knowledge of Cabildo and local council regulations across the island, allowing us to offer fast, effective solutions for individuals and businesses. Our goal is to defend your interests with a close, professional approach.
Lanzarote has its own legal reality. Its island status, the Canary Islands' special Economic and Fiscal Regime, and the Cabildo's specific regulations on matters such as urban planning, coastal law and tourism make it essential to work with lawyers who know the island from the inside, not from mainland Spain. At Márquez & De León we have been practising in Lanzarote for years. Agustín Márquez has led legal representation in private and institutional matters since 2010. Mariano de León served as Secretary of the Teguise Town Council for seven years and as Secretary General of the Cabildo de Lanzarote's Plenary until the end of 2024. That first-hand knowledge of how the Canary Islands' public administration works internally is a real advantage for our clients. We assist individuals and businesses with urban and environmental law, administrative law, public procurement, civil law, criminal law and regulated sectors. Our office is in Arrecife, just minutes from the courts, the Cabildo and the island's main public bodies.
